I have a 7 month old pit that is a baby and was interested in proper training when he is in the yard he will bark at strangers but if anyone comes in the yard he will not bark any idea was careful raising him acuse his strenght and breed. thanks the videos provided seem good would u advise its ok for a pit

@jazzgot101 even though it is a stranger that is putting you and some one else in danger you could get sued by the family for a? killing a man, and the dog would be put to sleep for attacking and killing some one and the owner will get a high priced ticket for using the dog as not for defense but as a weapon. the point of these dogs is for defense not killing, such as stalling the stranger and holding down the arm? the weapon is in and for the owner to call the police and arrest the man ALIVE.

One warning: Chicken wire only keeps chickens in, not predators out. Don’t use chicken wire. Use hardware cloth or similar “welded wire”.

Overall good plans but would be disappointed if I had to pay for them.
I just built this coop, I only built the coop part as I have a large run area fenced off already. My cost for lumber and hardware was about $50. I worked on it after work and it took about 6 hours to build. The plans are pretty good considering the price, however, they do leave out several important details, how to install the nest box, (I modified there intention as It didn’t seem stable enough for me) The size of the door (yes easy to figure out but hey they are plans).

A perch is not essential. The main thing for a chicken is to be above ground, which the roost is. However, it is more natural for a hen to sit on a perch and all this needs to be is a bit of an old branch laid on the roost floor, or a rounded off piece of 2″x2″ which can be attached either to the floor or to the walls. This can be placed upto a few inches above the floor.

The image at 3:56 is the rear wall of the roost which is attached directly to the main frame either by screws or nails.

Im just wondering, is there enough room inside the coop, for a perch to go across for them to roost on? I cant really see the dimensions of the inner part of the coop to see if that can be added inside. Thanks!!!
